Meet Ellard’s New Customer Service Team In June Ellard made some changes to the Customer Service team. The main reason for the changes is to gain a wider understanding of customers and to ensure they are offering, not only the right product, but the right service and support customers expect. The changes include the introduction of Adam Robinson who is now the Sales & Customer Service Manager. Having spent several years on the road Adam is now looking to bring his sales knowledge and experience to the internal team with a real focus on customer-centricity. The new team includes 2 Account Managers who are Justin Whittaker and Julie Hawkins, their role will be to focus on Ellard’s top 30 accounts and create long-term partnerships with these customers through consistently understanding their business needs and how Ellard can respond to these needs. Firstly, meet Julie… “Hi, my name is Julie Hawkins, and I would like to introduce myself as your new Internal Account Manager, this new role within Ellard is to provide a seamless link between Ellard and our clients by utilising the various depts within Ellard to build a stronger working relationship. “I have been with Ellard since 2019 and for the last 3 years I have been Ellard’s Customer Service Manager, I have gained an in-depth knowledge of our Customers, products, processes and procedures. “I am looking forward to a new and exciting challenge through the role of Account Manager. Where I can utilise the knowledge & experience I have to understand how best we work together. I will always go the extra mile to help any customer with any problem or solution no matter how big or small. I strive to always provide the best customer service whilst remaining professional in my approach.” Next, we would like to introduce Justin… “Hi, my name is Justin Whitaker. I have been with Ellard since 2006 through several different roles where I have learnt the details of the company and our products thoroughly. “This role will be an interesting new experience for me and I look forward to getting stuck into expanding my knowledge as well as building stronger relationships with our customers. My personal ethos is to always provide the best service possible and I am excited to carry this on in my new role as Account Manager.” As well as Adam, Justin and Julie, the team also includes 2 Sales and Customer Service coordinators whose roles have a more proactive focus. Leslie Potts and Sara Smith will be working in this area of the business. They’ll be proactively contacting Ellard’s customers with a real focus on the development of new business, promotions and training sessions which are held here at Ellard. Over the coming months, customers will start to see a positive impact from the changes that have been made. The company is aiming to make ordering easier with several projects ongoing in the background to make the customer journey as simple as possible!
