AlluGuard was acquired by SWS UK in 2016 and the two businesses have been working together to improve operational and purchasing efficiencies as part of StellaGroup. SWS UK’s recently expanded, state-of-the-art plant easily facilitated the smooth transition of AlluGuard’s manufacturing processes with minimal disruption to its customers. In Demand Since the move, both the AlluGuard 77 and AlluGuard 55 Roller Garage Doors have benefitted from a new, refined specification and an improved pricing structure resulting in a significant increase in demand for both products. Another welcome benefit for AlluGuard’s customers is quicker lead times. With access to SWS UK’s much wider, national delivery network, AlluGuard’s products are now available quicker than ever – which is great news considering their doors are in such high demand! Consistent delivery dates and greater delivery coverage is also adding to AlluGuard’s popularity, particularly amongst distributors looking for the perfect blend of quality product and good value for money. Expert Advice, 24/7 Support Supporting its growing customer base is AlluGuard’s long-standing Sales Manager Matthew Berry. Matthew continues to be on the road, offering face-to-face contact and expert advice. Also on hand is Liam Withers who is their office-based Account Manager. A team of Customer Service Operatives, a 24/7 Technical department, and expert Marketing Advisors complete AlluGuard’s newly structured support service. Matthew said “While the AlluGuard brand, our values and all that we stand for remain unchanged, the subtle changes we’ve made to our products and our service have resulted in benefits that are clear to see. Sharing a site with SWS UK has been key to our growth in 2023. It allows us to draw on their expertise, enabling us to further refine the AlluGuard product range and enhance our levels of service.” With more plans in the pipeline, AlluGuard continues to be the manufacturer to watch. In the meantime, their products can be viewed on their newly designed website: www.alluguard.co.uk Garador Sponsors New Charity Race Garador has played a major role in the West Country’s first-ever Race from the Base charity event. This brand-new event was organised to raise funds for the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, and Garador was a key sponsor, providing funding for the charity and also organising a 6 man team to take part in the race. The event started and finished at Henstridge Airfield in Somerset, with three different length routes available. These included a shorter circuit of just 30 km and the most demanding, a 60km cruise race and 100km climb race, which followed a challenging course around the local countryside. The Garador team included staff members Dean Curwen, Philip Wareham, Neil Bond, Steve Cottell, Geoff Babiy and Robert Green who work in Garador’s manufacturing department. The race day was particularly hot and challenging, but Garador’s avid cycling team members completed the challenge in excellent time, opting for the 60km course. Alana Hardy, Fundraising Events Officer at Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance said the hot weather made the race really hard work, but nevertheless, it was a big success. “Money is still coming in, so we don’t have a total yet, but without a doubt, this new Race from the Base went very well indeed. It was a fantastic event and the riders had a great time. “I would like to say a special huge thank you to Garador; we couldn’t run these events without their support,” she added. “We will now definitely be running another event next year.” Visit www.garador.co.uk to view their comprehensive range of garage doors.
