Also online at: www.dijonline.co.uk 64 THE door industry journal summer 2023 Domestic Garage Doors Hörmann Partner Standard Dealer Awards 2023 For the second year, Hörmann UK is running their Partner Standard Dealer awards which will recognise and reward the best companies in the garage door industry across a number of key areas. The competition, which is open to all Hörmann Partner Standard dealers with a completed dealer finder profile page, will crown one Partner Standard company as the overall winner and the Dealer of the Year Ten different categories will feature in the 2023 awards, including best social media presence, best showroom, installation of the year and the WOW factor. Seven of the categories will be submission based, with entries now open via an online entry system. Partner standard dealers should look out for mailings and information from Hörmann providing entry criteria and further details of all the categories. Entries will close on the 31st of August, with the winners announced on the 9th of October 2023. Wolfgang Gorner will lead the judging panel which will include experts from the Hörmann Team along with two external judges – Derek Hibbart Editor of Door Industry Journal and Steve Sidebottom Editor of Clearview magazine. Commenting on the Awards, David O’Mara Marketing Manager at Hörmann UK said: “Our very first Partner Standard awards in 2022 proved to be a great success, generating a fantastic level of engagement and entries from our dealers. So far for this year’s awards we have already seen an increased level of interest. “The ten different award categories ensure that everyone has a chance to get involved and I would encourage all of our Partner Standard dealers to join in and enter one or more of the categories.
