Also online at: www.dijonline.co.uk Industrial Doors & Shutters Alpha Deuren Announces Improvements to NovoZip ISO and Prime XF Retail Doors Alpha Deuren has launched the successor to its successful Prime Retail door - called the Prime XF Retail. This is based on the Speedroller Prime XF, with the 230 mm aluminium roller. The new door will be fitted with an FU drive with B-brake as standard. This brake releases in case of power failure, with door opening enabled through counterweights. The new model has been through extensive endurance testing and has run over 2 million cycles without any problems, so quality is guaranteed. Alpha Deuren has also made improvements to its NovoZip product, which is now available with an insulated 8mm door leaf – the same as for the high-speed Prime door. Two layers of 900-gram PVC - with 6mm of insulation material between them - produce a high-speed roller door with a U-value of approx. 3.6 W/m2. This makes the NovoZip ISO an excellent solution for cold rooms. As with the Prime ISO, the door leaf can be fitted with one or more rows of windows, with a size of approx. 350mm x 200mm.
