We recently caught up with Andy Perry, the Head of Commercial at Ellard, he said: “2023 has been a difficult year for everyone in the UK with the likes of high inflation and rising costs. Because of this, consumers are placing more importance on the quality of the products they are buying and giving more consideration to their high-value purchases such as gate installations”. Ellard has built up a strong relationship with the gate automation and hardware manufacturer, Comunello, over the past 5 years. Andy Perry says: “Precisely manufactured, competitively priced and with lots of stock availability, Comunello’s product offering meets all needs to make a gate automation purchase worthwhile during these difficult times”. To complement their range of products, Ellard holds pride in the support the team offers to their customers. This holds a central theme to the way the company does business. Adam Robinson, Senior Business Development Manager, has spent the first half of 2023 proactively working with the Ellard Sales Team with the support of the internal Key Accounts Team actively contacting gate customers, organising face-to-face visits and supporting pricing, literature and product information. Adam commented saying: “In addition to this we are now actively offering product training on gate automation to all customers. This training is in-house at Ellard and will be hands-on, giving customers the chance to set up control panels with the addition of accessories such as photocells, safety edges and other ancillary devices”. If you are interested in attending training at Ellard HQ, on the Comunello range or any other of Ellard’s products, then please do not hesitate to contact the Ellard team. Ellard is currently working hard to further promote the Comunello brand presence in the UK market. Adam concluded: “We are confident that Comunello is the right solution for customers to be able to fit and walk away without the worry of being called back to the site for repairs. As Ellard is working in partnership with Comunello we have full technical support and product awareness and staff are constantly undergoing refresher training on the range to ensure customers are given the best advice to be able to offer a solution to their customers.” Ellard’s business model revolves strongly around going the extra mile to provide valuable long-term support to their customers. Danielle Clubb, Ellard’s Marketing Manager says: “This ethos is ingrained in our company mission which is to align quality knowledge and support in everything we do. To achieve this all areas of the company work hard to provide five-star service and support”. The marketing department at Ellard is trialling new ways to help out their customers with day-to-day sales and marketing activities”. Danielle added: “If you are requiring help with anything from imagery and promotional literature to social media partnerships, Ellard’s marketing team will work with your company to help produce the best possible marketing support plan. This is great for those smaller businesses that may not have the time or resources to focus on marketing internally”. 2023 is the year that Ellard plans on making their mark on the gate and barrier market.
