Now, just over a year later the business has grown its customer base even further through offering a wide range of security related services. Scott Gibson, Director of Quay Facilities comments; “I strongly believed there was room for a new entrant in the market, focusing highly on customer service, engineers’ skill sets and communication. In my previous role as a Senior National Account Manager, I constantly found several aspects that customers were not receiving - specifically; communication, KPI & SLA target focus and most importantly customer service”. Quay Facilities is based in Kent and covers the south of England, believing that rather than taking on the whole country they can offer a more personal and direct service covering a smaller part of the UK. However, despite this belief they do support clients in any part of the UK through a network of known and trusted contractors, ensuring their clients never fail to get any security issue resolved quickly and efficiently. Scott continued; “We quickly became a member of the Safe Contractor scheme and gained accreditation, we have invested in various forms of training for our engineers and will continue to invest in all staff members to ensure we have and continue to have some of the best people in the business”. Through research and client feedback Quay Facilities has grown from strength to strength. They are slowly increasing their client portfolio and are very excited for the future growth of the company and look forward to the challenges the industry continues to throw at them. Of course it hasn’t all been plain sailing and so much hard work by all of the team has gone into getting them up and running. A few setbacks were encountered with the design of the website and when it was nearly complete, the tough economic climate unfortunately took another casualty in the form of their website designers, resulting in the 3 months of hard work on the site being lost with their demise. When asked about the setback, Scott replied; “Yes we have had a setback but we will continue to have setbacks in all aspects from system and software tools malfunctioning, third party failures out of our control and unfortunate events such vehicle accidents and breakdowns. The key however is how these setbacks are dealt with, by this I mean, if the customer is unaware there has even been an issue then it’s been handled successfully” Scott is very clear about what he requires, demanding that everyone in the team believes in his values and work ethos. This ensures they have the right team, with the right attitude operating at the core of their business. Whether receiving the job, delivering the service within the field through their skilled engineers or dealing with the accounts teams, their goal is that customers should feel the service they expect, right the way through to completion. Since setting up the company he has had much positive feedback from their customers and in that connection, wish to thank them all for their feedback and kind words. Visit www.quayfacilities.co.uk to check out some of the case studies. In fact, Scott told us that he is so confident that Quay Facilities will deliver the service customers should expect and deserve, that he offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If any customer is not 100% delighted with the service received from Quay Facilities, then they will not pay! Naturally there are terms and conditions that apply to the offer. With the above in mind, Scott looks forward to personally welcoming all new customers on board.
