The ‘Dealer Week’ event took place between the 5-9 October, during which time the garage and industrial door manufacturer donated £50 for every one of its RollMatic, sectional garage door, industrial sectional SPU F42 and SB rolling shutter ordered. David Newcombe, managing director at Hörmann UK Ltd. commented: “At the beginning of our partnership with Alzheimer’s Society, we vowed that we would donate to the charity for every Hörmann sectional garage door ordered within a set time frame. We later extended this initiative to include a number of our other popular doors in the hope of raising even more money. “We’d like to thank our distributors and trade partners for getting involved in our charitable efforts. Not only did they help us raise money, they have also helped to spread awareness of the deserving charity even further by promoting the event in their offices and show rooms, for which we are incredibly grateful.” By the end of 2015, Hörmann hopes to raise close to £45,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society. The staff has been supporting the charity over the course of the year with a range of fundraising activities, including a bake off competition, IT auction, and the Farmegeddon obstacle run in Melton Mowbray. With clean lines and a fresh mid-blue and white styling, Garador’s lorries now reflect its modern image; which complements Garador’s leadership in not only garage doors, but also in service and delivery. The vehicles are fitted with automatic lifting and carefully designed secure sections to ensure garage doors arrive at their destination in perfect condition. They also provide a telephone notification service, where a member of the Garador transport team calls the customer 7 days before any products are due to be delivered, and again 24 hours before hand, to help them plan for when the door arrives. By doing this, Garador hopes to save its customers time and money, enabling them to plan more effectively for the fitting of their new door. “We are delighted with the new look of our delivery fleet,” said Garador’s managing director Simon Hipgrave. “Garador has recently invested in new door designs and technology, and we felt it was time to invest in our delivery fleet. The upgraded lorries, with their new colouring and clear, clean signage, are now an excellent reflection of Garador and what we stand for.” Garador also offers a range of information services to ensure quick and easy selection of garage doors, whatever the requirement. The Garador website fully details the vast choice of doors available and Garador also offers a range of print brochures plus product and instructional videos on Garador’s own YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/garadoruk .
