Ellard end of year round up Extension under way The planned extension of the Ellard building now has a completion date of 15th December 2015. The building will house the production line for industrial door motors and control panels, plus some extra space for research and development. The additional space left over in the existing building will house an expanding sliding door gear product range. Exciting new products released DPro Control Panel Announcing the successful launch of the DPro control panel for high speed motors, these innovative controllers will revolutionise the way fitters install motors. The multi-functional adaptor with Bluetooth connectivity and Windows based software allows for remote access using an internet connection. Android users will have the ability to programme the unit via a free Smartphone App (IPhone users will see this early next year). Firmware updates can be transferred from a PC using the USB interface to the Bluetooth adaptor (pictured), plus the set-up of the DPro and inverter parameters can be completed remotely. EasyDock In 2016 Ellard will be releasing a range of Dock Levellers, the Easydock are controls units for either swing lip or telescopic lip levellers. Built to be as simple as possible for ease of installation the Easydock control units also contain pre-installed software for common dock manufacturers and can be supplied with different configurations depending on application. Special panels for bespoke situations are available; these can include door controls, traffic light and airbag functions. Single Phase Direct Drive The new Ellard single phase 300NM motor has been released and is ready to order. This new addition to the Direct Drive Motor Range comes with the Mini Basic controls as standard with an option to upgrade to the Mini Standard V8 controller. This IP54 rated motor has a number of key features including integral safety locking gear, low level manual override and a 12RPM motor.
