Heading the list is new range of steel side-hinged garage doors – available in secure standard build with cable operated latches and bolts, or with options for upgraded locking, stays and a bottom threshold. The new designs boast multiple user friendly features that make them very easy to install and operate, with the entire range benefitting from a solid box section 50mm steel frame as standard. All the doors are available made to measure throughout the range. The company has also increased its one piece up and over range of canopy and retractable doors to match the side- hinged range, meaning customers can choose a style knowing it is available in all gearing options. The whole up and over range benefits from corrosion-resistant chrome plated springs and hardware and features steel and aluminium locks and latches as standard. Another new product is a range of doors with windows, which is another leap forward for Fort and introduces six new cost-effective door designs with six window insert options. Window frames and inserts can be painted to colour match the door and Pilkington K safety glass is used throughout the range. The 2015/2016 line up also contains a new range of Grp side-hinged doors built on Fort’s strong steel chassis, again supplied with a steel powder coated frame as standard with upgrades and options available including ten standard colour choices. Like the steel versions of the side-hinged doors, they are available in made to measure sizes. Fort is also increasing its handle choice, with chrome, black or white die-cast metal handles and matching backing plates now available as an alternative to the standard nylon handle. There is also the option of a black or white lever handle on side-hinged and personnel doors. In addition, to satisfy customers demand for more colour choice, Fort has increased its range to include Ivory and Chartwell Green. This brings the standard range choice up to sixteen colours available in deep texture or low- gloss options. “What our customers and installers need from us is doors that can be made to measure in a reasonably short lead time, which is why we have been busy expanding our range and options,” says Fort Doors Director Lee Moon. “Also, with CE marking hitting the news, we are pleased to say that all our doors benefit from this and have been tested by a UKAS accredited test house to BS EN 13241-1 standard.“ All the latest models and designs feature in the new Fort Doors 2016 brochure that is currently being distributed to installers and is also available online.
