The MPL is small, unobtrusive and has no sharp edges - in stark contrast to the big, bulky and sharp-edged magnetic locks that dominate the market. Not only is this aesthetically pleasing, but it’s an important safety consideration, as - in the event of incorrect installation - it can’t seriously hurt anyone if it falls off the transom. The small size of the MPL makes it ideal for automatic doors where the space between the operators is too narrow for conventional magnetic locks, or where the armature intrudes on the safety sensor position.
