IN2 ACCESS TO HOST INDUSTRIAL DOOR TRAINING SAFETY DIPLOMA COURSE IN DECEMBER Leading activation and sensor suppliers, IN2 Access and Control Ltd, are pleased to be hosting their first DHF-led Industrial Door Training Course at their Shropshire-based training facilities. Following the success of their Powered Gate Group Safety Training Diploma courses, the Door and Hardware Federation (DHF) has been working closely with IN2 Access and other partner companies to produce the UK’s first ever safety training course for the industrial door sector. The 2-day course, running 13th - 14th December this year, will cover topics such as industry law, documentation, CE markings and standards as well as covering how to risk assess correctly. The diploma is aimed at owners, managers, supervisors, maintainers and installers but is also highly recommended for garage door companies who are involved in more complex activities such as modifying standard products. Candidates who pass the exam on the second day will receive an industry-recognised certificate and will be given the option to claim an identity badge. The course is open to both DHF members and non-members. Lunch and refreshments will be provided by IN2 Access at their training facilities in Oswestry, Shropshire. For more information about this course, please contact the DHF on 01827 52337. 66 THE door industry journal winter 2016 Also online at: www.dijonline.co.uk industrial doors
