Profile Doors, acquired by Alliance Door Engineering Ltd in 2007, have been supplying their made-in-house range of Folding Shutter Doors to the trade for over 25 years, specialising in the larger applications which require cost effective and high security solutions. Alliance were recommended to Mark Johnston by a fellow aviator, who had the Ram Fold Folding Shutter installed on his own hangar. Following the initial contact, the project was managed by Alliance’s Managing Director, John Hare, who surveyed, specified electrical requirements and liaised with Mark Johnston and the Building Contractor. The specific nature of the site required the doors to be bi-parting, driven by motors on both sides which could be independently operated. The work has now ensured Mark has a hanger door capable of providing the required space and security to accommodate the new aircraft of his dreams.
