The properties were at the point of being placed on the ‘endangered buildings’ list when they were acquired by Alchemi, who set about the task of restoring the 5-storey properties to their former glory by working closely with English Heritage. In collaboration with interior designers, Studio L and architects, TateHindle, Alchemi has created an exclusive, boutique development which includes six luxury apartments with stunning interiors, sympathetic to the buildings’ Victorian heritage and blending traditional style with modern sophistication. Furnishings and fittings were carefully selected after researching the history of the buildings and the interior style of the Victorian period. The objective being to retain as many original features as possible whilst creating a contemporary feel.
