Starting from 2019 the company will launch their very latest generation operator in the form of the LM3800W. It mainly differs from classic garage door openers due to two features: it is installed on the wall and not on the ceiling and has a Wi-Fi interface as well as a direct radio connection to the powerful MyQ controllable LED lighting. Wall instead of ceiling Garage door operators are often installed centrally on the ceiling. If there is not enough space available or it has already been designated for a different purpose, an alternative must be found. LiftMaster dealers and installation technicians can now offer their customers a solution in the form of the LM3800W jackshaft operator for spring assisted sectional doors. The operator is installed next to the door where it saves space and is unobtrusive. It is capable of operating garage doors with a weight of up to 130 kilograms with correlating maximum dimensions of 3.0 metres in height and 5.50 metres in width. The soft start and soft stop features ensure that the door opens and closes gently. The durable LED lighting module supplied with the operator helps to reduce energy consumption and can be positioned to your requirements. Integral Wi-Fi The permanent Wi-Fi interface is a new feature. It means that an additional gateway is no longer required to connect the operator to the home router. Thanks to the integral interface customers can save space, money and electricity and also benefit from quick and easy start-up. The familiar MyQ technology can then be used to its fullest extent. This means that users can monitor and control the operator using an app on their smartphone, tablet or PC regardless of their location. The MyQ app is available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Security and comfort of the latest generation The new Jackshaft operator LM3800W can connect up to two automatic locks - one lock is supplied with the operator. The locks ensure a reliable, mechanical locking. In the event of a power failure, it is also possible to integrate a separately available reserve battery into the drive within the battery compartment provided.
