Their new, 17,000 square feet home is larger than their previous premises and has been internally designed by a local architect to meet the needs of their expanding business. Alliance’s Business Development Manager, Tim Stuart comments: “Although the moving process provided many challenges, we are now starting to reap the benefits. The much needed increase in manufacturing space will ensure our fast lead times are maintained for our trade customers throughout the UK. We’ve added to our machinery too, with an extended powder coating oven. We now have the ability to coat lengths of up to 8 metres in house, giving us complete control over turnaround time and also ensuring our customers receive a high quality finished product”. In addition to their new home providing extra office and manufacturing space, work is well underway in the building of a new showroom / training centre and also a trade counter, which will be stocked with a comprehensive inventory of components to service the immediate needs of their trade customers’ repair and maintenance work. Tim went on to say: “We are excited about the benefits that the training centre will provide for our trade partners. As well as assisting with specification, it will provide the opportunity for our existing and new customers’ engineers to gain hands-on experience of the installation of products such as our Cheetah rapid roll door and Ram-Fold sliding, folding door prior to installation, ensuring a higher level of efficiency and competency. We are looking forward to increasing the support we provide for our trade partners and building on the great relationships we already enjoy”.
