Excitingly, SWS UK has announced that their collection of components can now also be accessed online! Launched in early 2017, SWS Online is a custom-built online ordering platform with a host of other additional features. Created for their network of trade distributors, the intuitive system enables customers to order with ease, raise quotations 24 hours a day and access bespoke technical drawings with a few clicks of a mouse. With almost 1000 registered users, SWS Online has soared in popularity with distributors praising the sites ease of operation and multi-functional uses. One such function is the innovative Call-Back system where distributors request a call-back from the company’s Customer Service and Technical departments. Particularly useful when on-site and boasting an average call-back time of just 9 minutes, installers are benefitting from a quick response when they need it the most. Recently added to SWS Online is the company’s extensive collection of components. Consisting of 754 products, including a wide selection of motors, this greatly anticipated development has been welcomed by distributors who can now quickly source the component they require using a fast-track ordering function and a choice of delivery methods. Also new to the system is SeceuroShield, SWS UK’s range of aluminium roller shutters and retractable gates, and SeceuroFire, the company’s fire protection products. With all the same features as existing online products SeceuroGlide and SeceuroDoor, distributors can now request quotations, and place orders across the SeceuroShield and SeceuroFire brands. New Starters at SWS UK Following further company growth, the SWS UK family has recently expanded with new employees joining both the Sales and Customer Service departments. Meet the new members of SWS UK: Sam Walling-McLoughlin Sam joins the Sales department in the role of Business Development Manager and will be focusing on the company’s SeceuroShield range of shutters and retractable gates. With over 12 years’ experience in the mechanical industry Sam comes equipped with a fantastic technical mindset in addition to excellent customer service skills. Sam commented: “My new role at SWS UK has been a positive experience from the very outset. Thanks to an intense two weeks training schedule where I spent time in the factory and manufacturing spaces, I am beginning to grasp a firm understanding of the products and the company processes. I have enjoyed introducing myself to new and existing customers and look forward to working with them.” Mandy Carter Joining the Customer Service department as Customer Service Advisor, Mandy has an extensive background in both manufacturing and distribution industries and particulary experience in customer service and sales roles.
