Working with its stain partners Teknos, Woodrite is introducing new versions of these three shades. Not much news there you might say, however the new shades have a significantly improved ability to reduce tannin leaching. The new finishes still allow the wood to breathe but have a better sealing effect on tannins. “It’s a detail, but we like small gains!” Said Sharon Cleaver, Woodrite’s Sales Director. Sharon continued “The new finish has the same great colour but a satin sheen, compared to the more “oily” surface of the old finishes. We’ve got samples in abundance and will be sending them out to customers. If anyone would like a set, just get in touch”. The old finishes are discontinued from December the 1st 2019 onwards.
