Doorfix-RingGard Choose Alpha Deuren for Upgrade of Donnybrook Fire Station, Dublin With over 35 years’ experience, Doorfix-RingGard is one of the largest manufacturers, suppliers and installers in Ireland of roller shutters, fire shutters and security doors and automatic sliding doors for industrial, commercial and retail applications. The existing doors were over 20 years old and had limited safety devices and low insulation values. Also, the existing doors never symbolised a fire station as they were Brown in colour, so with this in mind Dublin Fire Brigade wanted to give the station a face-lift and the doors to the front were an integral part of this project. Specification The installers consulted with Alpha Deuren to offer a high quality and high safety door system that was not only reliable for the application, but also suited the aesthetics of the building into which they were to be installed. Doorfix-RingGard provided a complete package of high-quality, Alpha-Deuren ISO 40 insulated sectional doors complete with all the required safety needs from safety edge, photocells and induction loops and an LED traffic light system.
