The company has also signed the lease on adjacent buildings and land to the current AlluGuard factory doubling the footprint. New Managing Director In August, Kevin Spence arrived as the new Managing Director at AlluGuard and he immediately set to work on the implementation of several investment initiatives for both immediate and longer-term impact. “Investing in AlluGuard at this time is a sign of the confidence we have in the future of AlluGuard. We’ve many loyal customers, but we don’t want to take that for granted. Our expansion plans are tuned to deliver service and products to our Customers that are recognised as the best in the industry.” Was the clear statement of intent shared by Kevin. Kevin Joined Stella Group in 2017, tasked with establishing the dealer network for group company Erhardt Markisen in the UK, taking on additional responsibility for the AVZ UK network in 2019. Whilst Kevin’s role within the group to date has been heavily customer focused, his career prior to joining Stella Group was very much manufacturing based, having spent 25 years at senior managerial and MD level in the engineering sector, serving the aerospace, defence and oil and gas industries. Well versed in continuous improvement initiatives, ISO and supplier development programmes, his knowledge of commercial manufacturing methods and sales experience, makes him uniquely qualified to take on the role of MD. Doubling of the Rotherham site First on the investment list was the signing of a lease on adjacent buildings and land at AlluGuard’s Rotherham production facility, which doubled the footprint. The extra space will give AlluGuard new offices, showrooms, and significantly increased warehousing space. New systems Alongside a new cloud-hosted telephony system, perfect for supporting remote working, Information systems are also being enhanced. “Is my door on schedule” is the information customers want, without having to ask. To facilitate this, AlluGuard is implementing a new MRP system ‘Libretto’ to bring real time order information to its customers. The offices and showroom will create a space to support Customers with door schools, product training and demonstration of our growing product offering. “We’re totally focussed on our Customers. 2021 will see AlluGuard grow and partner its Customers with ever-better service, information, and products. Be it faster order processing, real-time delivery information, technical support, increased production capacity to minimise lead- times, or just a good old fashioned ‘going the extra mile’ attitude, AlluGuard and its team will be that company” was Kevin Spence’s message to the market.
