These new exterior doors are designed to deliver exceptional resistance to wind — up to Class 5, which is one of the highest tiers in the industry. With a galvanised steel frame, a powder-coated finish and excellent control upon opening and closing, the B-Drive doors ensure smooth operation in strong winds, and both models are certified to 13241/CE. How do the B-Drive doors deliver excellent wind protection? The DynamicRoll ® B-Drive model features a rolling shaft that is connected to a counterweight balancing system which rolls the curtain and keeps its position incase of mechanical failure of any drive elements. The B-Drive SP is designed to maximise safety with a cutting-edge fall arrest system. It includes a curtain without ballast, so its weight doesn’t affect the gearmotor whatsoever. In case of failure of any traction part, the curtain remains in position and does not fall. Both of these doors can operate up to 100 Km/h with wind load, whilst they also deliver Class 3 water resistance (ref. EN 12425). How do these exterior doors improve efficiency?
