Garage door specialists Chamberlain Doors are celebrating after winning a major logistics award, which recognises its outstanding van delivery service. The company recently won the SME Van Operator of the Year in the Logistics UK Van Awards 2021, which took place at the Hyatt Regency, Birmingham on 24 September. Logistics UK is the only business group in the UK to represent the entire logistics sector, with members from the road, rail, sea and air industries, as well as the buyers of freight services such as retailers and manufacturers whose businesses depend on the efficient movement of goods. Winning the award also means that Chamberlain Doors are shortlisted for the coveted Van Operator of the Year category at the Logistics UK Awards 2021, which will take place on 9 December 2021 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London. The award and shortlisting come after Chamberlain Doors achieved Van Excellence Accreditation from Logistics UK back in 2019 - a status that requires strict assessment, high levels of commitment to compliance and safety and that has been reassessed and renewed each year since. “We are delighted to have been awarded the Van Excellence Accreditation every year for the last 3 years” comments Kelly Mitchell of Chamberlain Doors.
