The new small slimline release kit allows customers to manually wind a 5m roller garage door up without putting any stress on the universal joints, which on a normal kit could break. The top override fitted on the guide is for doors up to 3m wide, whilst the bottom override is the new smaller slimline model for use on doors 3m to 5.5m. As ever with Trojon, it is fitter-friendly and ready to install. When on site, all that’s needed is to connect the rod from the motor to the over-ride mechanism on the back of the guide. “All the feedback we get back from our trade customers about this new kit has been very positive,” says Rick Mitchinson, Head Fitter & Technical Adviser at Trojon Doors. “They are happy that it’s so simple and quick to fit”.
