The subsequent addition of new products led to the recent creation of a demonstration and display area at their Coalville headquarters, with the company having recently undertaken work to its site to improve service and further update its showroom displays. The addition of the Hörmann Truedor range of composite doors has seen a further redevelopment of the showroom display area. Work is currently underway to complete the addition of three display pods to display composite doors representing some of the most popular styles and colours. These will be shown alongside the very latest Aluminium and Steel entrance doors offered by the company. Due to be finished in November, visitors to the showroom will be able to see and operate the very latest garage and entrance doors. The industrial product display has also been updated and now features two recently launched industrial doors, the TurboLux transparent high-speed spiral door and the Series 60 high-speed sectional door. To further add to their objective to demonstrate the products in a real-life situation, a set of the new double action doors launched in the summer have been fitted in the warehouse. The PE version of the door has been fitted to the entrance of the spare parts store, which is an ideal location to demonstrate its key benefits, being in a robust environment with high levels of traffic. The doors feature glazed portholes and are colour-matched to the Hörmann corporate blue. Building work has also just been completed to expand the office space allocated to its Industrial Division. The work carried out will enable the company to relocate its Spare Parts team so that the whole industrial operation is located in one area. Managed by Phil Thorpe, the department now consists of estimating, project management and spares, and has been brought together to improve communications and ensure that high service levels are maintained.
