Both doors offer the market the opportunity to create eye-catching garage doors which provide the perfect design choice for exclusive, modern residential architecture. HART 42 – a striking addition to any home Providing optimum light and ventilation, the HART 42 sliding sectional door is manufactured from lightweight, strong aluminium and features large, evenly spaced panels for an elegant and harmonious appearance. With its side sliding, convenient operation it is ideal for both new and retrofit garages where the ceiling space needs to be kept free due to construction restrictions or storage requirements. The range of infill panels includes coloured glazed options and steel perforated and textured panels. Featuring 42mm panels, HART 42 has twin rollers with a rounded floor rail for reliable operation and smooth door travel. A continuous bottom seal provides protection against the weather to Class 2 for water tightness and air permeability. For safe operation, finger trap protection is provided both internally and externally as standard, together with an automatic safety cutout in the event of an obstacle being present during the opening/closing cycle. An anti-lift kit automatically engages in the boom’s stop when closing and locks immediately, ensuring that the door is secure against forced opening. The panel frames and outer frame are supplied in fifteen preferred colours and RAL colours of choice, which together with the twelve infill panel variants allows for a high degree of personalisation. ART 42 Vitraplan – the art of perfect transparency The ART 42 Vitraplan has been developed for the domestic market from a similar Hörmann industrial door which is widely used in high-end car showrooms. It is an elegant aluminium frame sectional door with concealed frame profiles in RAL 9005 Jet black. The large surface-mounted, flushfitting grey glazing panels provide maximum light creating a modern, showroom-style garage door combined with all of the market-leading features and benefits of a traditional Hörmann sectional door. Doors are available in widths up to 4000mm. Hörmann DURATEC technology The glazing panels supplied with both the HART 42 and ART 42 Vitraplan include the unique Hörmann DURATEC scratch-resistant finish. DURATEC is an innovative surface coating, which protects the glazing panes from scratches and damage caused by cleaning and environmental conditions over the long term, helping to guarantee a permanently flawless appearance. Hörmann Operator as standard Both doors are only available with a Hörmann operator which provides quick and easy operation via a hand-held transmitter, mobile phone using the Hörmann BiSecur app or Smart Home system. For the HART 42, the programming of specific passage opening widths is also possible to allow pedestrian or car access, removing the need to always open the whole door fully. Commenting on the introduction of the two new door styles to the range, David O’Mara Marketing Manager at Hörmann said: “We are pleased to be able to offer the market two new additions to our sectional garage door range.
